Privacy Policy

MindConnect ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian business. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

At this stage MindConnect is pre-launch and the only information we collect is what you choose to give us through our early access waitlist form:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your audience type (whether you are an NDIS participant or family member, or a provider or potential partner);
• your organisation, if you provide one; and
• any message you choose to write to us.

Please do not send us health information, NDIS plan details or other sensitive information through the waitlist form. We do not need it and we do not ask for it.

How we use it

We use your information solely to contact you about MindConnect early access — for example, to let you know when places open, to answer your question, or to follow up about working together. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is stored

Waitlist submissions are stored in our Google Workspace account (Google Sheets), with access restricted to the small number of people who need it. Google may store this data on servers located outside Australia.

Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only disclose it to service providers that help us operate (such as Google Workspace), or where we are required to do so by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. You may also make a complaint about how we have handled your information. Email us at privacy@mindconnect.me and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Unsubscribing

You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time by emailing privacy@mindconnect.me with the subject "Unsubscribe", or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We will delete your details from our waitlist promptly.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including access controls and reputable, secure third-party services. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as MindConnect develops. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
